Boat Parties in Ayia Napa: What to Know Before You Book

Updated October 19, 2026 · 5 min read

Crowd of people waving from the decks of a large white party boat named Fantasy Boat, moored in a harbour in bright sunshine

Our listings include two dedicated boat parties, and both cost €60: the Fantasy Boat Party (4 hours, rated 3.8 from 31 reviews on GetYourGuide) and the Castle Club boat party (5 hours, rated 3.9 from 32 reviews). Both are adults only, and neither is a quiet day on the water. If you want music and a swim without a club crowd, the sunset cruises further down are the better fit.

The Fantasy Boat Party

The listing describes a three-floor purpose-built party boat with live DJs and hosts, leaving from Ayia Napa harbour. It lists lunch, two fully stocked bars, a dance floor, free photos and video, and three swim stops including the Blue Lagoon. It also lists 30 minutes of free cocktail bar. The listing calls it an adults-only cruise but does not give an age in numbers, so ask the operator for the exact limit if anyone in your group is young.

The reviews show where the listing and the day can part. One guest wrote that there were only two swim stops, not the three advertised, and that the free bar covered only the last 30 minutes. Another liked the atmosphere and the friendly staff but found only one long swim stop. The review summary scores the guide 4.1 out of 5 and value for money 3.7.

The Castle Club boat party

This one is tied to the Castle Club nightclub. The listing promises live sets from its DJs, MCs, competitions and prizes on board, a swimming and snorkelling stop, and 30 minutes of open bar at the end of the cruise. Pizza is served at the meeting point before boarding, and free entry to the club is listed. It runs 5 hours.

The age rule is explicit here: the listing says it is not suitable for children under 18. It also asks you to show an ID or passport before entry, so bring one even if you are well over the limit.

Two sunset cruises for a calmer evening

80s and 90s sunset cruise with Cypriot dinner and DJ3.5 to 5 hours€44.20 per person4.8 from 328 reviewsAdults only; listing excludes under 16

Prices and ratings are those shown on GetYourGuide.

The first leaves from Ayia Napa harbour with dinner, one drink, swim stops at the Blue Lagoon and Konnos Bay, and the sunset near the Bridge of Lovers. Only two guests have rated it, so the 5 tells you little. The second sails from the end of Protaras Pier and lists a cooked meal on board, one drink (wine, beer, soda or juice) and a swim stop. Hotel pickup is an option you select when booking. One reviewer said the boat left from near Nissi Beach rather than the pier named in the listing, so check the meeting point in your confirmation.

If you like a party but not a nightclub crowd, the 80s and 90s cruise is the best reviewed of the four that has a meaningful number of reviews: 4.8 from 328, against 3.8 and 3.9 from about 30 each.

What to check before paying

  • The age line. “Adults only” is not a number. Castle Club says under 18 is excluded, the sunset cruises say 16+, and the Fantasy listing gives no figure.
  • What “open bar” means. Both listings give it as 30 minutes, not for the whole cruise, and Castle Club places it at the end. A Fantasy guest says it was the last 30 minutes too. Treat anything beyond that as paid.
  • How many swim stops. The Fantasy listing says three; guests counted two or one long one. Treat the number as a maximum.
  • Drinking and swimming. Alcohol and swimming do not mix. Pace yourself before a swim stop and follow the crew’s instructions.

When to skip it

If you are travelling with children, none of these four are for you. The family cruise and the Black Pearl pirate ship are the calmer options, and the Blue Lagoon cruises compared cover the daytime choices, for example the €35 cruise rated 4.7 from 2,690 reviews, which is well above the two parties.

Which one to book

  • Club atmosphere, long day, over 18: the Castle Club boat party, €60.
  • A party boat with lunch and the Blue Lagoon stop: the Fantasy Boat Party, €60, with the caveats above.
  • Music, dinner and a sunset, best reviewed: the 80s and 90s cruise, €44.20.
